The Aquarian Water Company of CT authorized the repair and resurfacing of the Hemlock Dam. The dam, commissioned in 1928, is about 2 mi (3.2 km) from Fairfield, CT. Size is approximately 1100 ft (340 m) long and 75 ft (23 m) high.
