Shotcrete Convention & Technology Conference

Dates: March 7 – 9, 2027 | Hilton Nashville Downtown | Nashville, TN

You are invited to share your expertise in this unique, shotcrete-focused conference.  This is the perfect stage to address critical topics and connect directly with industry leaders!  Your perspective can elevate the conversation and engage decision makers across the industry! ASA's Convention Technical Sessions cover the range from equipment, materials, processes and innovations across the various market segments including pools, recreational, underground, repairs and new construction. 

 

Individual presentations are scheduled for a 50-minute duration including a short Q&A opportunity for the audience.

Topic areas include (but are not limited to):

    • Pools, Spas and Water Features
    • Value Engineering
    • New Construction
    • Repair, Rehabilitation and Repurposing
    • Geotechnical and Underground
    • Architectural
    • Advances in Materials and Equipment
    • Sustainability

ASA’s Outstanding Shotcrete Project Award Nomination

The ASA Outstanding Shotcrete Project Awards program recognizes excellence and innovation on projects where shotcrete placement played a significant role.

Submission deadline: October 1, 2026

EARLY BIRD SUBMISSION INCENTIVE: Submit your completed nomination by Sept. 22, 2026 or earlier and receive preliminary feedback you may use toward revisions for a more favorable review. All submissions are final on Oct. 1, 2026 and no edits/updates will be accepted beyond that date. 

 

Shotcrete project completion requirement dates: January 1, 2024 – September 1, 2026

ASA’s annual Outstanding Shotcrete Project Awards program recognizes the projects that exemplify the advantages of placing concrete with the shotcrete process. These projects confirm the distinct benefits of shotcrete placement in concrete construction, including enhanced sustainability, architectural creativity, increased efficiency, and high quality, all with concrete’s inherent durability and serviceability.

ASA Project Award Winners will be celebrated during the 2027 ASA Shotcrete Convention & Technology Conference in Nashville, TN, March 7 – 9, 2027 (shotcrete.org/convention). Winning projects for each category are also:

  • Published in Shotcretemagazine’s annual Awards Issue
  • Featured on the Shotcrete.org Awards Portal
  • Promoted in targeted concrete industry press releases and social media channels

 

Submittal Process:

 

You may submit as many projects as you would like; each one carries a $50.00 USD entry fee.

Qualification Requirements:

  • All U.S./Canadian projects must be completed by a certified shotcreter; international projects that do not have a certified shotcreter may only be entered under the International category. Certification will be verified.
  • At least one team member must be a current ASA Sustaining or Corporate Member. (NOTE: This requirement is exempted for International Projects.)
  • Application must be submitted through this website form. Information submitted by any means outside of this form, such as email, will not be accepted. Please email [email protected] if you have any difficulty with the form.
  • Projects must be submitted by October 1, 2026. Project submittals will not be returned and may be used by the ASA for display at meetings and trade shows.
  • Winning projects must submit an Owner’s Release Form before winning status may be confirmed.
