Knowledge: Shotcrete’s
Most Valuable Resource

By Oscar Duckworth

As 2024’s incoming ASA President, I’ve
been asked to write a brief introduction.
For those who do not know me, I am not
an academic or engineer. Rather, I am a
nozzleman. Yet with over 30 years of daily
practice in shotcrete placement, I have
not mastered the craft.

The art of the nozzleman is a craft that
can never be mastered. It can only be continually refined.

Thank you to our convention sponsors!
Congratulations to our 2023 Outstanding Shotcrete Project Award Winners!
ASA bestowed six outstanding project awards, and recognized three honorable mention awards

The American Shotcrete Association (ASA) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2023 Outstanding Shotcrete Project Awards. The recipients were honored at the 19th Annual ASA Awards Banquet held in conjunction with ASA’s 2024 ASA Shotcrete Convention and Technology Conference, on March 5, 2024, at the Lakeway Resort, in Austin, TX.
