| | Outstanding Shotcrete Project Awards | | Deadline: October 1, 2026 | | Don’t wait — start taking photos and plan to submit your project in May! | |
Mark your calendars for the 2026 Outstanding Shotcrete Project Awards program, opening May 2026. Eligible projects must be completed between January 1, 2024, and September 1, 2026. Portions of long-term projects may be submitted, provided the shotcrete work falls within this timeframe.
Award winners will be notified prior to December 1, 2026. Finalists will be required to submit a project owner’s release form before awards are conferred. Winners will be recognized at the 2027 ASA Shotcrete Convention & Technology Conference. More details to come.

Turning Industry Experience into Impact
ASA committees recently met March 1–2 during our Annual Conference, collaborating on key initiatives and setting goals for the year ahead. Here’s a preview of what’s underway:
- Education & Safety – Development of safety videos and a student outreach program
- Membership & Marketing – Creation of a membership journey and mentorship program
- Contractor Qualifications – Review of shotcrete and concrete testing standards

Pool & Skatepark – Amended Committee name to Pool & Skatepark, to better represent this strong shotcrete market; position statement development and outreach for the Pool Contractor Certification program
- Underground – Development of an underground-specific appendix to ASA’s Safety Guidelines
