As part of the education and safety committee, I wanted to take a moment to look at some job-related injury statistics for the year 2019, published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). As of December 2019, there were a little over 133 million full-time workers in the United States. In 2019, “the total number of injuries per 100 full-time workers is 2.8.”The good news is, that number has steadily decreased over the past 15 years. Learn more...
