The 2012 Annual Membership Meeting

ASA Officers Elected

With terms beginning January 23, 2012, the ASA membership has elected the following individuals to leadership roles in the association. Joe Hutter, King Packaged Materials Industries, was elected to a 1-year term as President; Michael Cotter, Consultant, was elected to a 1-year term as Vice President; Charles Hanskat, Concrete Engineering Group, LLC, was elected to a 1-year terms as Secretary; and Ted Sofis, Sofis Company, Inc., was also re-elected to a 1-year term as Treasurer.

These four individuals will join with Past President Patrick Bridger, Allentown Shotcrete Technology, Inc. to form the 2012 ASA Executive Committee.

ASA Director Appointed

The election of Charles Hanskat to Secretary, created a need for the Board to appoint an individual to complete his term per ASA by-laws. Oscar Duckworth, Valley Concrete Services, was appointed by the Board to complete that 1-year term beginning January 23, 2012.

ASA Directors Elected

Two ASA Directors were re-elected to 3- year terms beginning January 23, 2012. The re-elected Directors are Lihe (John) Zhang, LZhang Consulting & Testing Ltd and Marcus Von der Hoffen, Coastal Gunite Construction Company. Scott Rand, King Packaged Materials Industries, was elected into a 3-year term also beginning January 23, 2012.

The four newly appointed, re-elected and elected Directors will join with 5 previously elected Directors (Willam T. Drakeley Jr., Drakeley Industries, LLC; Tom Norman, Airplaco Equipment Company; Ryan Poole, DOMTEC International LLC; Dan Millette, The Euclid Chemical Company; and Ray Schallom III, RCS Consulting & Construction Company, Inc.) and the ASA Executive Committee to form the 14 member ASA Board of Direction.
